Remediation of Shoreline Retreat and Soil Erosion of the Chocorua Lake Grove, Chocorua

The $22,500 SCC Conservation Grant provided to the Chocorua Lake Conservation Foundation funded the preparation of a Landscape Master Plan, secured the necessary permitting and native planting along sensitive shoreline areas. The project resulted in reduction of erosion, water quality improvements, habitat enhancement utilizing best management practices.
